I’m Bitzy an 1 year old, 25 pound Collie mix, and I’m looking for a forever home where I can be your loyal, loving sidekick! I didn’t have the easiest start in life—I was rescued from a hoarding situation and didn’t get much socialization early on. But thanks to some wonderful humans, I’ve learned how great it is to be loved! I can be a little shy at first, but once I warm up, I’ll be your best friend, always ready for cuddles, belly rubs, and companionship.

A few things that make me special:

Gentle Explorer – Walks are my absolute favorite! I love sniffing my way through the neighborhood and watching the world go by.

Cuddle Queen – When I’m not out exploring, I love curling up on the couch for some snuggles.

Polite and Well-Mannered – I’m fully potty trained, crate trained, and walk nicely on a leash.

Road Trip Enthusiast – Car rides? Yes, please! I love feeling the breeze and saying hello to friendly baristas at the drive-thru.

Teamwork makes the dream work:

I’m a gentle, loving girl, but I do have a few quirks. Loud noises (like fireworks or unexpected bangs) can startle me, and I can be nervous around off-leash or overly energetic dogs. I’ve made amazing progress in building my confidence, and with a patient, understanding family, I know I’ll continue to grow into the best version of myself!

What's my dream home?

I’d love a quieter home with humans who enjoy daily walks as much as I do. I’d be happiest as the only dog or with a calm, easygoing furry sibling. I warm up quickly to my people and will be your most loyal and loving companion once I feel safe.
