Hola, I’m Madeira!

I’m a playful, affectionate terrier mix with a big heart and an even bigger love for fun! Right now, I’m a growing pup, and when I’m full-grown, I’ll be about 30 lbs of pure joy. My journey started on the streets of Mexico, where I was found with my three siblings, but now I’m ready to find my forever family!

Cuddle Queen – I’m extremely affectionate and love to snuggle up after a long day of fun.

Toy Fanatic – Whether it’s chasing, chewing, or fetching, I’m always up for some playtime!

Sunbathing Expert – Nothing makes me happier than laying outside and soaking up the sunshine.

Leash Pro – I walk really well on a leash and love going on adventures!

Smarty-Paws – I already know how to sit and give paw, and I’d love to keep learning new tricks!

Teamwork makes the dream work:

I’m almost fully potty trained, but I’ll need a little patience while I perfect it. I’m not crate trained yet, but with some positive encouragement, I know I’ll get the hang of it! I do okay on short car rides, but longer trips aren’t my favorite—maybe with some practice, I’ll learn to love road trips, too!

What's my dream home?

I’d love a home with a yard to run and play in and an active family who will keep up with my energy. I haven’t had much experience with other pets or kids yet, but I’m extremely social and always excited to make new friends. Most of all, I just want a family who will love me as much as I love them!
