Hi friends! I’m Wayne, a sweet and cuddly 5-6-year-old terrier mix, weighing in at around 40 pounds. I was rescued from Rosarito, where some kind volunteers were feeding homeless dogs, and I’m so grateful for their help. I’m a loving and affectionate doggo, always ready for cuddles and face licks. While I can be a bit shy at first, once I feel comfortable, I’m your loyal and mellow companion. I’m the perfect balance of chill and sweet, and I’m always ready for a cozy nap in my crate or a stroll with my hoomans.
I’m fully potty trained, so no worries there! I walk really well on a leash, and I’m happy to take leisurely strolls with you. I’m definitely more of a laid-back pupper, with mild energy, but when I feel playful, I’m ready to have some fun! I love being around people, especially kids. The more hoomans to love on me, the better! I’m also super affectionate and will happily give you all the snuggles you can handle.
While I’m a pretty easygoing guy, I do get a little nervous when I see bigger dogs, especially when we’re out on walks. It seems like I’ve had some tough experiences with them in the past, but don’t worry, I’m totally fine with slow introductions. I also have mild separation anxiety and will whimper a little when you leave, but I settle down quickly once you’re gone. Just a heads up, I’m neutered & fully vaccinated!
My dream is to relax in a nice, comfy home and be surrounded by my loving companions. A yard would be nice, but I’m big on naps and just relaxing. Kids would be great because I’m always up for more cuddles, and if you enjoy a calm, affectionate doggo who loves his naps, we’re a perfect match! I’m looking for a cozy, quiet place where I can be your loyal companion and enjoy life at my own pace, and I hope it’s with you.
My adoption fee is $250, and that fee covers my first year of vaccinations, neuter, and microchip. Do I sound like the dog for you? You can fill out an application to adopt me at http://www.thecantufoundation.org/adopt.html
