Hi! My name is Bearlita! I was born on December 6, 2022, and I’m a German Shepherd mix. I’m a big girl weighing about 75 lbs. I’m already fully vaccinated and spayed. I don’t need a crate. I’m also fully potty trained and my foster parents are helping me with leash training. I still need help walking on a leash, but I hope you’ll be patient with me while I learn. I was living on the streets in Mexico along with my five puppies when The Cantu Foundation rescued me. Now I’m ready to look for my forever home!

My foster parents will tell you that I am very affectionate and playful. I do well with other dogs after a proper introduction. I haven’t met any cats or kids yet. I can be anxious and whimper when you leave me alone but it’s only for a short period of time. I’m somewhat independent and sociable. I like to follow my foster parents around and I really enjoy going on car rides. I just went to my first social event and took pictures with Santa!

My foster parents would describe me as sweet, eager-to-please and clingy (but a healthy amount). I like to zoom up and down the stairs and go on walks and jogs. I really like hanging out with my foster parent’s other dog! My favorite thing to do is chew on my squeaky toy. I love to play but I also enjoy a good cuddle. I would do well in a home with a yard so I can stretch my legs and run. I would also be fine with other pet siblings.
