Hewo der! My name is Yami! I am a 40-pound, female, lab mix, 2 years old. I am spayed and fully vaccinated. I am a very good girl - I am fully potty and crate trained and walk well on a leash. I am so lucky to have been rescued by the Cantu Foundation! They rescued me as a stray dog on the street, people would beat me and push me away because I have a muscle tick - they thought I was sick. I’m a distemper survivor which is where my tick comes from - I have no other health issues. My life is already so much better, but I cannot wait to find my furever home!

I am great with other dogs with the proper introduction but I'm not sure how I am with cats. I love hoomans but am not sure how I am with little hoomans. I do not have anxiety or separation anxiety. I am cuddly and affectionate but also independent. I am definitely a more chill dog, my energy is mild and I am not too playful or social. I just like to hang out. I am always down for a lazy day of watching Netflix!

I enjoy the odd outing but can be nervous when there is a lot going on. I also enjoy riding in the car! My favorite things to do are play with my foster sister or lounge around. My foster parents describe me as sweet, loyal, and willing to adapt.

I am so excited to find my furever home and my family. I will do best in a quieter home as I get a bit nervous when there’s a lot going on.

My adoption fee is $350 and that includes spaying/neutering and vetting care. If you want to take one of us home, please fill out the form on the website here thecantufoundation.org
